DESIGN & CONCEPT

O

pening at Las Palmas and Hollywood Boulevard, Premiere is nestled in a neighborhood rich in both theater and nightlife. Premiere designer, Kristofer Keith of Spacecraft, captured the essence of these two different platforms in his concept for the venue. Keith renovated the space to evoke an interactive atmosphere, with optimal flow and visual stimuli in mind for every inch of the club. Stepping through the front doors, you enter into a large, yet intimate room, bordered by arches, raised seating, and a 30-foot bar. Opposing staircases lead upstairs to a second level, which overlooks the dance-floor and DJ booth. The upper level boasts an additional, full-service bar, as well as the most exclusive balcony seats in the house. For its fall debut, Premiere's stage is set to suggest the dramatic and romantic Catalonian region of Spain, starring flamenco dancers, matadors, and bull fighters. Walls are draped in lavish crimson velvet curtains, with exposed brick and stucco, dark-stained pine, and wrought-iron accents. Props and tiny details, such as the broken Spanish tiles that embellish the bars and bathrooms, help to further accentuate the rich aesthetic. A prominent chandelier, spanning 12 feet above center stage, softly illuminates the dance floor, giving club-goers their moment in the Limelight.

VINNY LARESCA

B

orn and raised in New York City, Vinny Laresca parlayed his career as an actor in over 50 films into his current incarnation– owner/operator of West Hollywood's wildly successful Villa lounge and one of the nation's top nightlife impresarios.

Laresca's successful twenty plus year acting career with roles in Romeo & Juliet, The Aviator, 24, Empire, Before Night Falls, Cop Land, The Devil's Advocate and Lords Of Dogtown has enabled him to develop a rolodex of friends in the entertainment industry that he began cross-pollinating in nightlife. In 2002, SBE founder Sam Nazarian hired Laresca and his close friend, film producer Chuck Pacheco, as the nightlife and hospitality powerhouse's first promoters to infuse their A-List crowd into the some of the group's fledgling nightspots.

The duo's first venture, a Saturday night party at the club Shelter on the Sunset Strip, became an international sensation by bringing together an eclectic mix of tastemakers, jet setters, and celebrities while being the first to introducing bottle service to the LA scene. Laresca and Pacheco went on to brand successful nights at Lobby, Prey, Area, and Privilege generating multi-million dollar returns and becoming equity partners in SBE nightlife group. Now established as Hollywood's top promoters, the two went on to infuse a new level of sophistication and celebrity into the Vegas nightlife scene via collaborations with the Light Group, including the successful launch of Jet Nightclub at the Mirage and memorable events at the Bellagio's world famous Light Nightclub, YellowTail Sushi, Fix Restaurant and the opening of The Bank nightclub in the Bellagio hotel. Laresca was responsible for the opening New Years Party for the Setai resort/hotel in south beach Miami and numerous New Years events where he partnered with current Tao Nightclub owners Noah Teppeberg and Jason Strauss.

Having traveled the world, allowed Vinny to create relationships that are unique to the Los Angeles nightlife scene. Having grown up in New York nightlife he has strong relationships with the top New York nightlife impresarios and they are always looking to Vinny to host there best customers when they are in Los Angeles. He is often the first call one makes when they land in LA and looking to go out. It is this quality that allows him to set the trend and brand a venue as the place to be. In 2007, Laresca made the leap to owner and operator, teaming up with Reza Roohi and Pacheco to open Villa, a quirky and intimate lounge that has become a haven for the city's brightest stars and most powerful insiders. Villa gave Laresca the opportunity to create the atmosphere he has always sought to achieve – a relaxed environment, where his friends are free to enjoy nightlife in comfort and privacy, while maintaing a strong bottom line. With only 1500 square feet Villa Lounge is the highest grossing per square foot venue in Los Angeles.

Vinny is looking to set a new trend with his latest creation Premiere. He wants to create a nightlife experience for his people and not have it be "just another night out" for them.

Vinny has lived in Hollywood since he moved to Los Angeles nine years ago where he currently resides and is vice president of the Broadway Hollywood Home owners association. He is also a volunteer for the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department where he works with at-risk youth through both the Vital Intervention Diversion Academy (VIDA PROGRAM) and the Youth Athletic League.

Vinny is proud to be a part of the Hollywood revitalization and is committed to bringing venues that improve the quality of life for surrounding residents and giving back to the community.
